RD notification date

Applied RD to Uni of R two months ago and I was wondering if anyine here knows the exact date for RD applicants? I just saw something from another forum that the date for notifications varies from year to year(Early March to late April actually)and its official website just says April 1 to 15. These dates are confusing! Will Richmond send you something like a likely letter in early March? My stacs are below:
SAT:2140(CR660 M730 WR750)
GPA:4.0 in an independent school with rigorous courses
ECs: State Award for excellent charity work
Interpreting and numerous vonlunteer work

Decent interview
International student with FC of $45000

Just wonder my chance and the date for RD notification.
Any input appreciated!

UR’s site says April 1 is the approximate timing. I would suggest using that over a post on another forum, unless it’s from an official UR rep.

Typically, going to the source is the best way to find the answer you’re looking for.

[Timeline - Undergraduate Admission - University of Richmond](<a href=“Admission Process - Undergraduate Admission - University of Richmond”>Admission Process - Undergraduate Admission - University of Richmond)

@Spider05 Thank you very much for the link! It is indeed confusing,

I got this email today: “Congratulations on your admission to the University of Richmond! I am delighted to learn of your acceptance and want to acquaint you with a unique scholarship opportunity for University of Richmond students who are committed to community engagement.” Then it encourages me to apply for the Bonner Scholars Program.
So I’m accepted?! Has anyone gotten the same E-mail? This seems too good to be true! OMG!

Elec - My son got the same email today.

elec-I got “almost the same” letter, only beginning with “Thank you for applying to the University of Richmond!” instead of “Congradulations…”
More confusing now…

Anyone else receive a similar email?

My D is waiting and we would love to know one way or the other.

2011VAMom- What is your D’s email like? If it begins with "Congradulations…“then definitely your D is in! But I’m not sure what it means to receive an email like mine beginning with " Thank you for applying to UR…”

I got the same e-mail as well. Started off with “Congratulations on your admission to the University of Richmond!”

jerseydude1993- Congradulations then!I think it definitely means you are in.
Now I kinda worry about my own email however cause it start with “Thank you for applying to UR…” :(. Is it because I am an international student? LOL, just guessing

no email here- this eems to be taking forever

i got the email too! :)

I got the same “Thank you…” email. Not sure what it means? I’m international too.

kaitlin01- I received the email starting with what is exactly the same as yours and I 'm an international. Now I guess the emails that all intl students who received this start with “Thank you…” instead of “Congradulations…”

no e-mail here thank you or congratulations???

I didn’t get the email, but I did get a letter saying that they were impressed with my application and that I should expect a thick envelope in the next few weeks!

kb0671, that must be the likely letter! Congrats! When did you receive the letter?

I got one of those letters today too - I’m sooo surprised! I didn’t even think I was going to get in…but a huge wave of relief just passed over me.

Thanks! I received the letter today in the mail. I was really surprised, but like hgblue really excited and relieved!

Got a “likely” today too. I didn’t know Richmond sent those. It was a nice surprise
