We are so excited about starting school at High Point in the Fall. My daughter needs to decide which dorm she would like to live in. She prefers the apartment style. Does anyone know about Blessing or York and woulf those be the best fit?

York is not open to freshmen anymore.
Blessing is good as long as she doesn’t mind the noise because it’s not a 24/7 quiet dorm

Blessing is an apartment style option with 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms per apartment (investment options vary with each). There is a kitchen and living space as well! This is a great way for your daughter to have her own space, but still get the kind of roommate experience.
If your daughter would prefer a great mix between apartment style and traditional jack-and-jill style, Wanek Center and UC 2 (which is the second half of the Wanek Center) where two girls would share a room connected by a bathroom to another room of two girls, might be a great option for her! In this case the bathroom is large and the beds are full beds (bonus!)! Wanek Center is at the heart of campus and also has a library, restaurants, entertainment and more in the building, making it very popular! The residence portion of the building is separate, so there’s no additional “traffic” due to the make up of the building, and only students who’s residence is in that building have access to the housing there!
