Re-take?

I took the ACT in February and got a 33 composite. I'm really happy with my composite score, but my math sub-score could use some work.

Math: 30
English: 31
Science: 35
Reading: 36

I plan majoring in engineering at either Purdue or UIUC, does anyone know if a somewhat low-ish math subscore in an otherwise high composite is a big disadvantage? Big enough to re-take?

I appreciate the input. :)

I think you’re fine. Save your money!

You got your two highest scores in the sections I struggle most with! I always run out of time :frowning: How do you do it!?

I honestly have no idea. My sub-scores were the complete opposite of what I thought they would be…I thought Math and English were much easier than Science and Reading.

You should be able to get into Purdue with a 33.

a 33 composite is in the top 10% at purdue.
