I bought the Princeton Review, Barrons & the Kaplans SSAT book in 2012, it is 2013 now, and Im retaking the test in 2014.

Is it necessary to buy their new 2013 material, or is it alright just reusing the 2012?

It doesn’t change significantly enough to warrant replacing only year-old books.

What about Barron’s TOEFL iBT books and CD from 2007?

I’m glad someone asked this…IIRC, one of the SSAT admins last year was significantly harder than previous ones.

What I don’t remember is if this was due to change in test format or just an outlier in terms of difficulty. Would love insight/advice. Once more into the breach with SevenDaughter2 this year…

Often, the only difference from year to year is the picture on the cover.
