Reach and Match, NESCAC/cornell

Hello, everybody.

I am looking for some colleges that would be either reaches or matches for me. I have some safety schools in mind so don't worry about that part.

I am looking primarily for a college in the Northeast in a somewhat urban area, but it isn't a deciding factor.

Stats
ACT:34
Sat: 2320
National Merit
AP classes (4 and above on all, so far): World History, US history, Chemistry, Language, Literature, Calc AB, Psych, Western Euro
GPA: 3.75 unweighted
Top 10% of class
I took all the hardest classes available.

ECs:
Swimming- Team state runner-up sophomore/junior year, participant in NCSA Junior National Meet (tough time standards required)
NEHS-2,3,4
Culture Outreach Club- founder 2,3,4
NHS-3,4
I interned for a victory office (big swing state) for the Mitt Romney campaign and worked with college and law school students. Frequently brought (and bring) the branch to the top of the state in the doors knocked and phone calls made.
Olympiad- A team of ten (myself included) scored top 5 in nation on Olympiad exam
I got a lot of writing awards (VFW, Scholastic)

I am interested in Cornell, Williams, and Trinity.

Please chance me on those and provide some reaches or matches for me!

P.S.- please tell me what your credentials are so I know how seriously to take your advice. i.e. I am a parent of current student, I am a current student, I am a random high school kid who is just guessing.

Reaches? Any of the other Ivies, Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, Georgetown.
(Haverford, Wesleyan, or JHU would be slightly less reachy.)

Matches: Trinity, Connecticut College, Boston College, UVa, Holy Cross.

(Those credentials look good enough to have a shot anywhere, though.)

What do you want to study? Why Cornell, Williams, and Trinity?
What about your budget? Have you estimated your Expected Family Contribution (EFC)? If so, is your family able and willing to cover it, or would you need merit aid to cover a gap?

(As for my “credentials”: I am a parent of one current college student and of another recent college graduate. I believe I am well-informed … but will be the first to admit there is an element of mystery to the process at the level of competition you’re considering.)
