<p>I applied early to William and Mary and got deferred. What's y'alls opinion on my other schools? </p>

<p>I would suggest contacting admissions at W&M. Write, call and call again. Let them know you are interested. Try to find out if there was anything about you app that was a concern.</p>

As far as the other colleges, i'm not really that familiar with them. Sorry. And... you could try to find out what W&M's deferral and deferral admit rate.
And... would you mind telling me what you think of my chances on my thread?</p>

<p>Hey, I got deferred from WM as well. My dad called an admissions person, who said that the applicant pool this year was bigger and more competitive than it has been in previous years. In addition, the ones who were admitted early had an SAT of around 1400 on the old scale, which you seem to have. I'm actually very suprised that you didn't get in early, but I think you've got a good shot at getting in regular; they said that about 40% of the people who got deferred at admitted in spring.
