<p>In regard to my common app essay...
I wrote about my mother, as the person that influenced me the most.
Because of her recent passing, I feel almost like I wrote the essay to much about her, and not about myself. I tell about what i learned from her, but at the same time glorify her. Its not a sob story, as the reader doesn't know about her death until the last few lines. I am just wondering if colleges won't like this as its not enough about me.
