Readers for Waitlist Supplement?

I would like some readers for my wait list supplement letter. I think it still needs work and would like some extra input on it. Any and all input welcomed. less sugar coating, more brutal honesty (but constructive! unless its funny) flame on!

I'd prefer that readers be someone who has already been accepted to CU for obvious reasons...or even better, a teacher/parent of kid already in CU/advisor/figure of academic authority.

thank yous!

I’ll help you. PM me. Got in CC (may turn it down for MIT)

anyone else?

and where do i send it? (e-mail, postal etc) is there a deadline for this?

pm me and i’ll have a look

I’ll check it out too!

I can look over it. I got into Yale. I can give you a good critique and point out the details of concern but I will not be able edit it completely you know ;-)

As for the paper, you have to send it to the address you used for the rest of the application stuff. Since they start reviewing after May 1, (deadline for students to notify about the acceptance of their offer) I would say you have to send it before May 1.

safro thanks for the offer but idk where you stand decision wise with cu so i’m reluctant to show you. luthien, i’ll send it over.
stanford09, it looks like you and i are in the same boat. i’m not too comfortable sharing it. hope you understand.

I’ll check it out, if you still need help.

feel free to send it to me. I got in :)

any advice on what to include in the statement? should it just be a reiteration of interest in columbia and why it fits you?

My son got into Columbia ED. I am a school counselor and although not a professional editor,I helped him with the content. I think I’ll be able to help you too. Send it over (assuming its not more than 2 single spaced pages)

bump, sorry for hijacking but can anyone answer my question?

I got in, feel free to send.
