Waitlist supplement

Can someone please tell me how we can VERIFY that our statement reached? I sent mine in yesterday. I e-mailed it, and I faxed it, but I can't tell if they've received it or not, because I obviously haven't gotten a response.

Should I mail it to the admissions office as well? The reason I ask is because I'm international and mailing stuff from here is PRETTY expensive. :)

Anyone? :)

41 views and not one response? Come on, you people!

i dont think there is any way....call them and ask

I guess mine reached,
I am off the waitlist. I got e-mail and phone call yesterday

I've never understood why CC members are so afraid of admissions offices.

Call them and ask.

We're all shy introverts inside :)

Haha, redundant :-P

"our statement"? Was that a letter keeping them up to date with what you're doing or just a simple statement that says that you still want to go to Columbia if they offer you a spot (yes or no)?

They just sent me an email reminding me I'm on the waitlist. I wonder if I should take this as encouragement? I just checked my application and it's missing a teacher rec so I guess I should resend that. Out of curiosity, how many other people have gotten this email?

Dear *****,

If you have applied for financial aid, please visit https://admissions.columbia.edu/ to confirm that Columbia has received your required financial aid documents.

If you do not want to remain on Columbia's waitlist, please complete the reply form below.

Sincerely,

Jessica Marinaccio

Everyone on the waitlist =

I just e-mailed my Columbia counselor and she said they added my supplement to my file.

It really seems like she likes you. She didn't reply to me AT ALL!

Don't we have different counselors? Since you're international.

i didn't know we had counselors..are those just for international students?

Everyone gets a counselor. Just e-mail the admissions office to find out who yours is.

Sorry for being so lost, but do you guys know what email we should email the supplementary statement to? I’ve been looking around on the site, but can’t find anything about that. I live outside of the US so email would be much more convenient for me than having to mail it. Thanks in advance.
