Reading My Letter of Appeal to University of California Santa Cruz

If you want to read my letter of appeals to UC Santa Cruz you can email or message me (I have not sent it in yet). Help is appreciated!!!

I was denied admission to UCSC and I am appealing because I do have new information to present.

First off I have many extra curriculars: journalism, yearbook, photographer, jobs, and a lot of community service. Since I applied I have joined a new relief effort; Habitat for Humanity and have gainED over 50 hours of community service. Also I got a 4.0 for my 7th semester grades. On top of that I have taken 4 UC transferable college courses at my local CC and am taking 3 more now. Lastly, I have had many paying jobs when I was hired as a photographer. I presented all of this information in a nice, business like manner as well as other information. Is sending this appeals letter to University of California worth it?

Yes, it certainly sounds like there is enough new information to present. You have been busy! An appeal is always worth it–you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Best of luck to you.

Did you do all this new stuff before applying to UCSC? They specified that they wouldn’t count any new information that happened after you applied.
