I got a letter from WashU asking for Finaid stuff, and I ended up being waitlisted there.</p>
<p>Washu doesn't use need-blind admissions. They use financial information about their applicants to make their decisions, so in your case they asked for your financial aid information before they made your decision.</p>
<p>hm i got a similar letter and didn't think that it hinted towards anything. i saw it as financial services going through the database (or whatever) and sending a letter to any applicant who has not completed their application for aid...</p>

<p>Why doesn't someone just call Penn and ask them? The worst thing they can say is, "Sorry, we can't divulge that information." Or, you could just wait 9 more days.</p>
