Ready for Review?! STILL?!

Hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me because I'm definitely freaking out. I turned in all of my papers on the 25th of January, but up until roughly two weeks ago I was looking in the wrong area for my application status, lol. But I STILL have a ready for review status, and its been a terribly long time.

I called into the admissions office a few times, many of them were busy lines that couldnt be connected, and the man working said he couldnt help me when I finally got through. Am I doomed because all the spots have been filled???

I checked off extenuating circumstances on my application which I fear has been the cause for my delay, because the website said it would cause delays... but still I dunno :<.

what do you guys think of the situation? And what should I do?

hey ayneenjay, I would say don’t worry about it. If they told you in advance that there’d be a delay, then you should have been prepared to accept a sizeable one, because I don’t think they’d notify you specifically otherwise.

in addition, no I don’t think all spots have been filled, at least not in faculty of arts, b/c I just got my accept today, and my stats were not exactly the greatest, if you know what I mean >____>

however, if you were going for faculty of science, then I really don’t know. They told me they were full up. D:

I’m still ready for review too for both Interfaculty, B.A. & Sc. and Faculty of Science applications.
I’ve been ready for review since January, I believe. It’s been a while.
What do you mean by full up? Probably no more people will be accepted to FoS? Does that include Interfaculty?

Is there a day when they HAVE to respond with the decision (I live in the US)?
Thanks

March 26th I think?

ready for review since december…should i call in?

You should call if you are non-Canadian.

I’m ready for review (Canadian transfer)

I’m going to check it every day but I’m not expecting results for a while D:

They really inconvenienced me by giving June as an approximate day to find out ~.~
That means I’m going to have to reregister for the school I’m in right now and then go through the trouble of getting out of that if I do get into McGill

^^ I believe that is a standard time frame for transfer admission, even in the US. They may want to see your full year university performance.

^
Yea.
but they know what courses I’m enrolled in. Admitted pending completion/a grade requirement for me to uphold or something would be better.

Hey,

I’m an Ontario student and as of today Minerva still says “Ready for Review”. It also says that they received my transcript online from my school on Feb 17th.

Info:
Average : 91%
SAT: 2110
SAT MATH II: 800
SAT Chemistry: 790
SAT Physics: 720
AP Calc: 5
AP Chemistry: 4

I applied to chemical engineering, biomedical sciences (submitted in december), physical science, and BA&Sc (submitted in january). They ALL say “Ready for Review”. It is really frustrating. Should I be worried? Do they intend on reviewing my application at all? Why is it that people with worse grades and test scores have already gotten offers of admission?

If you are from an Ontario high school:
"Ontario high school March 1 - April 16, 2010, early admission decisions to selected candidates.
May 14 - May 21, 2010, admission decisions to all other candidates. "

International decisions are announced earler.
