Hi everyone. First of all, thanks for being such a supportive, kind community. This is truly an awesome place to get feedback and help.

These are some of my stats and projected stats.

Korean Junior in Alaska (I wish I wasn't Korean. I really feel like a white boy at heart.. :P)

Class Rank: 3/456 or so (this should go up to 2 or 1 by end of Senior year)
GPA: 4.30 Weighted 3.94 unweighted
SATI: 1960 (760M, 580CR, 620W, 10 essay) I am disgusted by this and embarassed to reveal this score to the public... :(
SATII: 790 Math IIC, 750 Chemistry, taking Physics and Literature next year. (~700+ I assume to be safe)

Classes: Must I list them? That's just brutal. I'm going to have taken the "most rigorous" courseload we can offer at our school. It's Alaska... our public schools aren't that great. I don't think the individual classes matter... the AP courses I will have completed by Senior year will be:

Calc AB/BC, Chem, Environmental Science, US Gov, Lang, Lit, Micro, Macro, Physics B, Psychology, Stats

The other classes are filler, easy classes. We are required to take a semester of "Alaska Studies." How lame is that? :S Oh well, I got it over with :)

AP Scores?

Calc 5, Chem 4, Lang 3, Micro 4, Macro 5, Stats 5

(The Chem, Lang and Micro are conservative estimates. I expect higher. More to take next year...)

EC I guess:

Key Club President for two years (11, 12)
Funny story. I was VP Junior year, but about 2 weeks into the year, our President was kicked out of office and I was nominated to take the position)
Model UN (11, 12)
This is pretty fun. Definitely going to continue.
Mu Alpha Theta (10, 11, 12)
I wish we did more in this club. President is really a slacker.
NHS (10, 11, 12)
I also wish we did more in this club. Kind of lacks in "honor" related duties.

PROMYS math camp at Boston University, summer of Junior year (this summer)

Volunteer Work: I'm lookin at 250+ hours... mostly with Key Club, senior citizen centers, and Imaginarium (science discovery center)

Piano and Violin for 4 years if that counts for anything... some recitals here and there. Nothing special.

Sports:

Track 11, 12
Cross Country Running 12
Tennis 11, possibly 12 also

Do family life factors count in admissions? It's been a tough life growing up. Struggles with financial deals and problems between parents.

Anyways, I aspire to go to the following colleges:

UCB, UCLA, Stanford, MIT, Princeton, UPenn, possibly WUSTL depending on scholarships.

But realistically speaking, I probably should look elsewhere.

I think my SAT scores are my biggest detriment... I plan to retake the SAT and I'm confident that I will manage 2200+ by the next sitting.

Am I looking too far ahead even if I improve my SATs? Can I improve in any aspects? Any input will be appreciated. Thank you guys.
