Realistic opinion?

I am a transfer student at my current University, but unfortunately, my GPA is a 2.66. I had a lot of personal and health problems last year, so that brought my GPA to a mediocre level. However, I have 7 courses with a GPA of 3.6 at another college. Since programs look at every course students have taken, would the 3.6 help me, or will they only look at my GPA the way it is now? I am double majoring in Psychology and Biology, but am almost finished with Psychology.

I still have about 3 semesters of just Biology courses left, so I will be delaying graduation and hopefully staying an extra semester. What can I realistically do (besides raise my GPA now) after graduation? Do you think I have a chance to get into a MS program for Genetics, or am I more likely to have to work as a lab tech/research assistant for a few years and then apply to a Ph.D program?

Can someone please help me with this?
