Hi. I have taken the January 2016 SAT and didn’t do as well as I had hoped. I’m planning to retake it in the fall. Assuming I continue to study, what would be a realistic projection of my possible score?
I understand this can be affected by numerous factors, but, especially based on your own or someone else’s experiences, by how many points can people bring up their score?
Thank you very much.
The lower your starting place, the more room you have to grow. Increasing another 200 points from a starting point of 1000 CR+M is a lot easier done than when your starting point is 1300.

Thanks for the quick reply and the useful piece of advice! I hope that’s true for me as well!
Hmm…my CR and math(which was unusually low) combined is an 1190. I was looking at a 1320 or something(this is on a 2400 scale. Just FYI; I forgot to mention that).
