this is a vague question, but how many maximum points can you get to raise your gpa within one whole school year?
lets say, for example, a student has a 2.5 gpa, how high can the gpa be by the end of the school year - per say, this student is taking many AP courses.
thanks.
It’s simple math but can’t be answered without number of credits earned and number of credits enrolled. The lower the GPA, the more you can increase it with a 4.0. A 3.8 is much more difficult to move to a 3.9 than a 2.5 is to a 3.0 but it’s still all about credits.
You can raise a 2.0 to a 3.0 from freshman to sophomore year but not a 2.0 to 3.0 from end of junior year to senior year.
hm, is it still possible to raise it during junior year?
Should be a simple math problem.
You have E credits with a 2.5 GPA. You take N credits and earn a 4.0 GPA in them. What is your new GPA?
(2.5 * 2 + 4)/3
This would get you up to a 3.0 roughly, depending on how many classes you took fresh/soph year compared to now.
If you factor in Senior year first semester it would come out to be about 3.14 (lol, pi).
However, given that you have gotten a 2.5 up until now, I don’t know if it is possible for you to get only straight A’s here on out.
