Realistically-- What are my chances of getting into an Ivy League?

Okay, so Ive applied regular decision to all 7 Ivy leagues, (except for Harvard, to which I was deferred EA), and was wondering If my chances are at all good for the regular decision programs.
Here are my Stats:

SAT: 2190 single sitting, 2250 superscored, 1500 CR and Math
SAT II: 730 Spanish, 700 Math II

GPA: 4.0 unweighted and saludatorian, 4.08 weighted (Though I should note our weighting system only goes up to 4.08, and Im taking the most rigourous classes the small school has to offer, including all AP classed except for government, which is required)
Most probably NMF, and awarded Hispanic recognition scholar, as well as AP scholar with distinction.

Im Hispanic with no real money problems, so we dont qualify for financial aid. I spent a year abroad in Spain in 7th and 8th grade and attended school there. I wrote a really good essay on it (according to what my teachers have told me)
Recs are not a problem, my teachers really like me and made glowing letters. I was actually surprised by how good they were.
Im also fluent in castilian spanish

EC’s: National honors society
State piano competitions in improvisation, sight reading and public performance; attending suzuki musical institute for 5 years and have earned highest ratings in the state numerous times.
Concert master violist at local orchestra
Was a lead translator on a group sent by the school to the Dominican republic to build a school, and did 200 hrs of volunteer work through the program.
Did 200 hours on local community service in addition, including helping out at the local mosque (which I did because I felt they were being heavily discriminated against)
I also have a general class ham radio licence which I got to speak with people around the world.
My school doesnt really offer many other activities other than that. I was on Varsity swim, Varsity Tennis, Varsity cross country, and Varsity track, and have won minor prizes in art competition, but thats about it.

Lastly, im from Texas, and Im cuban. An underrepresented state and an underrepresented race. My school very rarely sends kids to Ivy league schools.
You guys think there is a chance?

Your credentials are very strong. You have a chance; your application will not be ignored. That’s as good a prediction as anyone can give you. Conservatively, I’d guess that 50% of the other 30,000 applicants have credentials that good too.

Thanks Wasacher,

My problem is that im above 50% of the applicants, but only tge top 5% are accepted. You see the problem?

Yes. The Ivy League schools are extremely difficult to gain acceptance. Being a perfect GPA and perfect SAT scores does not guarantee admission, as there are many of these in the nation. They are looking for well rounded students that are leaders and excel. Keep in mind Cornell and Penn have the highest acceptance rates, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, the lowest.

Yes, I see the problem. That is what I’m trying to tell you. The odds are not in your favor because they are in no one’s favor. All I can say is that I wish you well, and that I hope you do not spend the next 3 months worrying about things beyond your control.

The real problem is going to be your essays. There’s no way you can write an effective “Why___?” essay for each of these colleges, and the essays mean A LOT. For example, Cornell is in rural NY, Penn in philly. Have you done great research on all of these schools?

If you have, and your essays are all excellent, then you have a decent shot of being accepted to at least 1.

You’re right in there. But, did you have any safeties?

What do you intend to study?
If you get accepted, I hope you take time to come back and let us know how they all went.

I know score is not everything but this is just reference from Forbes 8/4/2014 article The Top 25 colleges Ranked by SAT http://www.forbes.com/sites/schifrin/2014/08/04/top-100-sat-scores-ranking-which-colleges-have-the-brightest-kids/

“Keep in mind Cornell and Penn have the highest acceptance rates”

Last year it was Cornell and Dartmouth.
