Wondering how my chances stack up this year...seems pretty competitive
Tulane, BU, Vanderbilt, Baylor, U of South, Miami, Bucknell

Thanks...

You're in at Tulane, BU, Miami, Bucknell, and you have a good shot at Vanderbilt. I haven't heard of the rest. Your EC's aren't weak...you seem committed to your activities...quality > quantity.

yeah...i guess, thanks...So many people seem to have cured AIDs on this site...ah well. Forgot to mention i have legacy at Bucknell (both parents, 2 grandparents, kinda crazy. I'm sick of hearing about how they beat Kansas in the NCAA tourney this year). Any other comments? What if GPA dropped slightly, to a 3.7 area? or class rank slightly to around 20%? it probably wont, but hypothetically...

If there was a drop...it certainly wouldn't look good. But it probably wouldn't effect your chances so much at Tulane, Miami, BU, and maybe Bucknell. Certainly wouldn't look good to Vandy. Keep up your grades because an increasing trend will look good.

Aight thanks...any of those schools safeties? other opinions are appreciated :)

Tulane - Match
Boston Univ - Match
U of Miami - Match
Bucknell - Match
Vanderbilt - Match/slight reach(?)

You have no real safeties but all of your choices (that I know of) are realistic and Tulane, Miami, Boston are pretty safe matches.

Hmm...Thanks a bunch, you're helping a lot...

Possible safeties Baylor, SMU, U of South, UGA?

Also, does piano qualify as a hook? I'm not in any national competitions or anything, but does it show passion?

Yeah...10 years looks very good. Basically anything with a lot of commitment that shows your stuck to it. And im sorry...I know nothing about SMU, U of South, or UGA. :/

aw darn...thanks though :)

Just got ACT back, 32 composite.
