If you send both your SAT and ACT scores to a college -- and the college states that "if you send SAT scores, then we want your SAT II scores too" then does sending your ACT score neglect that statement?

I don't know if I need to take the SAT II's or not. None of my colleges require them EXCEPT the ones that want me to send them only with the SAT.

Well most colleges explicitly state if they want them or not. The most common thing I’ve seen is SAT I with SAT IIs OR ACT with writing (no SAT IIs needed). Read each and every college’s standardized testing statement-- they’ll make it easy for you.

you should just call the college to make sure, it’ll take less then 2 minutes to answer. but if you took the ACT WITH writing, then there really isn’t a need to send in your SAT scores. But if you do send the SAT 1’s in, then you have to follow the instructions and take SAT 2’s and send those in as well
