really really depressed about a W

<p>i dropped the class at 11:59 and it counted towards the next day</p>

<p>(yea i waited to drop my fault i admit it)</p>

<p>this is my first W and i'm feeling really really depressed about it, currently i've had numerous 4.0's and higher 3.5's gpa's</p>

<p>is this going to hurt me transferring to another university (in community college at the moment)</p>

<p>W just means “withdrawn” and there should be no credit toward the GPA at all, so it shouldn’t effect it in any way.</p>

<p>I had 2 or 3 W’s on my transcript, and it hasn’t posed a problem for me transferring to a 4-year school. The only time it becomes a problem is if you continuously drop courses… like dropping a course every semester, or dropping a full semester.</p>
