How should I do in my subject tests?

Thanks

is it bad to have the free essay about how bad you want to go haha..

uh 74 views and no replys?

chill. no worries about no replies. Its just that a lot of us (including me) don't like answering chances posts since admissions is really hard to predict.

Honestly, go speak to you GC -- They'll have the stats from people that have been admitted from your Gov School. The GCs at my Governor's School were really great about that kind of stuff, and I'm assuming yours will be about the same. You're in a different boat than a lot of other people applying since you're from a Magnet School, and one of the smaller magnets at that (Not huge like TJSciTech) so its hard to really give you a good prediction.

I'd say you've got a good shot -- you have a strong application, and if your SATs are in the 2100 range, you should be a good candidate. Really, I encourage you to go see your GC at your Governor School. They will be able to compare you against the stats of some of the students from your school that have gotten in from the last past years.

And remember, work hard on your essays and your apps, and pick plenty of other schools as well. Admissions sometimes is just really hard to judge; how do you pick just 3000 great students out of the other of all the great students that apply? So do your best, cross your fingers, and expect anything :)

we dont have a gc at our governor's school.. I only go there for math science and reserach on the morning and take the rest of my classes at my public school... we have a gc there but I don't think he gives us access to those stats

ours would give us advice about whether our SATs and GPA were in the range of accepted students from our school in the past. They should be able to tell you that kind of stuff and how to best strengthen your application. Building a good relationship with your GC is so valuable during junior and senior year -- they know so much and can be soooo helpful!
