Essay/Teacher Recs: Essay will be HOPEFULLY pretty good; Teacher Recs should be pretty good also

Extras: Junior year, Second Semester Lived in Southern Italy; Serving as the only intern in the county at the Police Department working 20 hours a week, from august-may

EDIT: I should mention at my school we have MANY required courses (the freshman year classes) that we MUST take there is no Substitution, Sophomore we can only take 1 AP and we must get the teacher & Counselor approval; Junior year we can only take 2 (US History & Biology) (but because i wouldn't be here i had to get my graduation requirement courses in; Senior year we can take as many as we want but because we work block schedule (4 classes a semester) and I "do" 2 classes of internship, i took the max amount of AP's i can

Hmm I’ll add about the school I want:
*No preference on area except no Alaska
*Over 10,000 People
*Must have a football team

I think that BC would be a lowish-match for you. 9000+ undergraduates, football team, offers a political science major, not in Alaska.

If international relations and poly sci are your preferences, you should strongly consider staying in the Washington Metro area, where internship opportunities-governmental and ngo-abound. Take a look at GW, American, and George Mason. You have some exceptional ECs and are a URM, which should make you attractive to many schools.

I do have matches…but wouldn’t you rather have a lighter??? LOLZ…seriously…you don’t have a chance at Boston College…look at GW…great poly sci…but if your a democrat then don’t go there…america doesn’t need anymore of your poor people rants…RALLY THE RICH PEOPLE!!!

“Take a look at GW, American, and George Mason.”

Well yeah, except none of them have a football team.

I believe Michigan State has a good poli sci/IR department, and would be a “match” school for this student.

university of maryland? penn state? look at state schools

XX5XX: hahaha I wouldn’t get in

M’s Mom: I’ve visited American, and I hate it. I live in the Washington and do NOT wanna stay here, GW never get in, and GM is a massive commuter school

Firebird92: Uhm, Okay? Not a democrat but that has nothing to do with it

Milwdad: Haha thats what i was thinking, they have no football teams?

Collegebound41: I’ve looked at those and there on my list, i mean i have a list of schools i just wanted to see if anyone else could give me input

bump, Shamelessly

Actually, you have pretty good stats, and minority status. I’d peg BC as only a high match, at most.

Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, UM-Twin Cities (most logical for you, cheap OOS), USC, UCLA, U Washington, Ohio State, and UIUC would all be good.

My counselor told me to look into Michigan (go visit my cousin goes there), She told me to look into Wisconsin, UMTC & UWashington also hahaha do you really think i have a chance though? I feel like I don’t… at all. I was going to apply to USC and i sent in part 1 but im not even sending in part 2, its not worth it.

bumpppppp =)

Helpsrsly?

Do i really stand no chance at Michigan or Wisconsin?
