i am going to a state school for at least the spring semester, to just be in school and work on any gpa issues, buti worry that that's too late to show any form of change. i want to go for ed II, for financial aid purposes.

thanks!

I applied to Reed last year and got in, and plan to begin my freshmen year next fall.

My "stats" weren't much different than yours to be honest, so really, my advice is, don't worry about your numbers. It's funny, you would think Reed, with its reputation for unsurpassed intellectualism, carefully selects applicants with impressive resumes, when really, that's not the case at all. From what I understand, Reed selects a few high school drop outs every year.

What you have to understand about Reed is its seriousness. Reed's mission is to provide a demanding yet eye-opening education to those who really want it. So really, if you're serious about Reed (and make that apparent in your application / essays,) then Reed will be serious about you.

Reapplying will score you huge points.
