I am wondering if any current CMC students or parents can tell me some of the things they don't like about CMC. Does everyone really love CMC or are there students who don't like it and if so, why?

Current student here: [Why CMC? | Current students will tell you why.](http://whycmc.com/) is a new, student run site with a lot of articles detailing why students love CMC.

My perspective is that everyone really does love CMC. Now of course people have their moments where they get disenchanted or frustrated with an aspect of campus, but they can easily get over it. Campus feel to small? Go to more 5c events! Feel like leaving the Claremont bubble? Get super-cheap tickets/transportation to events all around the southern california area!

I personally love CMC. As a student entrepreneur, I have found myself thinking about taking time off to work solely on my startup. However, I just can’t do it! The academics are hard yet so intellectually stimulating and interesting. The speakers at the athenaeum are so inspirational and give me the drive to keep working hard. And needless to say, my fellow students are some of the most amazing, bright, and friendly individuals you will meet- without exception. A perfect example of the claremont community is how I met my two principal investors (both CMC alums) in my startup through the student-operated Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

CMC is a truly amazing place and what I believe to be the happiest college in America. Feel free to email me (ghoffman15@cmc.edu) with any more questions you may have!
