<p>So maybe its because I have low self esteem. Maybe its because I realized that I might not get into any of the colleges I want to get into (Bates, Carleton, Macalester, etc) and I need to have a backup plan. </p>
<p>So please help me find some good colleges that I won't feel like a complete loser if I only got into that.</p>
<p>My family has been moving around and I lack the depth to really excel because of it. 9th-School A, 10-11th School B, 12-Will attend School A</p>
<p>GPA: 3.87
ACT: 27 (first time, taking it in June again, most likely will do much better)
Essay ability: Good enough but not excellent
EC's: Captain of XC, speech, track, the academic team, band, the math team, page program, internship for USRep this summer. Pretty much I've been involved but lack the shining moments
Classes: Are the hardest available to me</p>
<p>Want in a college:
Small-medium size
Not in the south, I like my blizzards
History and Finance/Econ
In MN or have fairly good size of outstaters</p>
