<p>How can I tell if a teacher has actually submittted my reccomendation online? </p>

<p>Go to the School Forms tab and choose the any of the schools that the teacher was assigned to, scroll down to the teacher’s name and look to the right of it, if it says “invited” then they haven’t submitted it yet if they have submitted it, it will say “submitted”</p>

<p>What if your child’s high school does not use naviance? The guidance office says that we will have to submit our common app by u.s mail because the online common app has to have the teacher recommendation done with naviance. This is going to cost us more money to apply.</p>
<p>The high school does not have to use Naviance to have the recs sent online. My school doesn’t use Naviance, but my teachers are still doing them online. All you have to do is add the teacher and put their email in and they will receive an email with directions. They can choose whether they want to submit online or through the mail, in which case you would just have to mail them.</p>
<p>But again, it doesn’t matter if the school uses naviance, it’s more about teacher/counselor preference</p>
