Receiving scores early through a trick?

exactly at 12

inb4 servers crash

Alright, thank you

So do scores come out at 12 AM EST or 1 AM EST?

^ yea id like to know that as well

I believe the scores come out 12 am Central, 1 am Eastern.

1 eastern…12 central

1 am est .

5 more hours :/

The countdown is on! Pop some popcorn, put your cursor over the refresh button, and enjoy this pretty cool time in your lives. It seems stressful now, but you all will look back on this fondly. From what I can tell, CC members are all very smart, up-and-coming young people. Good luck to all!

Thanks Suzy…'s Mom

i feel as if your just as anxious/excited suzy’s mom :)

you got your popcorn ready?

I am always anxious and excited for these scores, too  But we make it as fun as possible – movies, snacks. We kind of make a party out of it. It eases the tension for my DD quite a bit!

I wish my parents were like that. They’re more like " you get a 32?, you no go college, you dumb"

lolol i swear^. they be like i’ll be so happy if you get a 32…well no ****, so would i, and thanks for the pressure.

Same here man…my parents said I’ll have to study and retake even if I get a 35!

^just hearing that makes me want to vomit.

First time taking the ACT–where do I get my scores in the morning? Do I just log on to the ACT website?

Kids today put so much pressure on themselves that I think parents need to counter it a bit so the whole process doesn’t seem so scary. Everyone will end up where they are suppose to be (I honestly believe that), and seeing my kid work hard is good enough for me. All of you are so dedicated to this whole process – kudos! It’s nice to see so many kids so invested in their futures. Very commendable to be sure.

SuzysMom - I agree! My dd is retaking to try to get a couple points and maybe more merit $$. But this is the results of ONE test on ONE day. Seeing my kids work hard and to their ability is enough for me. Adding pressure does nothing except add pressure :-)

Jazzed - to get your score, log into the ACT website (actstudent.org) and then it should say “View Scores” next to the September date. You’ll have to reenter your password after you click on that link, and the PDF should pop up. If you don’t see “View Scores” but see “When Will Scores Be Ready?”, then your scores aren’t ready yet.

^^Exactly!
