So I recently graduated from a top 15 University (maybe it'll break top 10 this year, haha). I quadruple major and double minored (pretty much had about twice as many credits to graduate once I was through). By chance, I got a job as a consultant at a highly ranked healthcare company. At the time, I wasn't sure about medical school and I hadn't even applied or thought about applying. I was more interested in pursuing fellowship opportunities such as the Fulbright, Rotary, etc. but fell short as a finalist.

I've always been accustomed to having the next step planned in my head in terms of a direction, and now I find myself unguided and confused. While I could envision myself being a consultant in healthcare as a career, I also wonder what other areas I may want to pursue.

One of the biggest inhibiting factors to pursing an MD was the cost. My thought was by getting a job, I could save up some money for med school, but at this rate, it will be several years before I'd have enough. I am also interested in the business and public health side of healthcare.

Part of me thinks that this is just me continuing to pursue everything and anything that interests me, and I do understand that you can't quadruple major in a career. But now, I'm very confused as to where my next goal should be set. Does anyone have any advice?

I love my job now, it's not a question about that, but it's more a question about where am I going next.

A little bit more about myself:

College
-Varsity athlete, captain
-Point of contact for hospital volunteering site, volunteered at hospital for 3 years
-Led/experienced 3 week-long service trips domestic and abroad
-studied abroad/researched in a Spanish-speaking country (fluent)
-Performed/published/patent pending research in chemistry
-Performed/working on publishing research in public health

Now:
-Volunteer as Spanish translator outside of work

I feel that I have many options ahead of me and now it's just a matter of where I want to be. As someone who's not from a wealthy background, money and debt are serious factors in determining what comes next. Ideally, Id like my career to involve the Spanish language, but that's not a necessity.

thanks in advance!
