Hi,

Since I'm new here, let me give you a brief explanation of my situation, since you guys probably don't know me first.

I'm going to be a freshman at UT-Austin and was initially dead-set on doing pre-med (bio major). Now, however, I am more interested in perhaps doing business on an international level, but still want to be in the health care industry (if that makes any sense).

My first plan, of course, is to try and transfer into Chemical Engineering or something, but, if I don't make it as a transfer into that major, I was thinking about doing a double major in biology and business, and maybe going into the health care business. My questions are, what kinds (as in examples) of jobs (besides entrepreneurial work) are there in the healthcare business? I'll be honest, money does matter to me, so does it pay well? I'm not asking for a 250k job, but do these jobs allow for making well over 100k if you work hard and are good? More importantly, can these jobs be attainable with a bio/business major, and is there opportunities to work internationally (this is important to me) within this job?

thanks in advance (I hope this is an OK place to post it...I put it here b/c this is the most focused on health-related topics)
