<p>I have a few questions that I would like to ask of any current students, alumni, or parents of W&L students and hopefully you can answer.</p>
<li><p>If we applied for the Johnson Scholarship when do we find out about qualifing for it?</p></li>
<li><p>I know W&L has a party reputation, so what are the consequences of being caught drinking, etc.?</p></li>
<li><p>What should I bring to the dorms that are not noted on the W&L website.?</p></li>
<li><p>And is there any information or tips that I should know that you can provide.</p></li>

<li>no idea. last year the johnson possibilities all came in feburary i think, so y'all should probably get info before that at least</li>
<li>drinking in the dorms= a strike. getting caught drunk in public underage gets you an MIP and probably a strike. one strike can mean different things, depending on the severity of the offense (some frosh caught drinking in his/her room might just have the $100 fine and the year of conduct probation, while an MIP might warrant some community service and a higher fine) DUI with a BAC over .15 gets you suspended for a semester, so don't do that. 3 strikes and you're out for good. if you don't drink,don't come in judging people who do; we don't like that very much</li>
<li>fans are necessary. idk what's on the website; contact your roommate if/when you get one to coordinate who's bringing what. keep in mind the rooms are small. don't bring your entire life to school</li>
