Recently admitted student wondering about visiting

So I was recently accepted to Cal Poly, and after looking into it more and more I am beginning to consider it as my top choice.

I unfortunately will not be able to make it to the Open House or Admitted Students day. I am really disappointed about this, however I will be able to visit the Saturday before, April 13. What are some things I can do during this time to get a feel for the school and see if I like it. I mean they don’t even offer tours on Saturday, so I’m not sure what I will be able to do other than just walk around.

The students are going to be going about their daily routines so you can talk to them I guess

YOu can go on a self guided tour:

You could also stop by the rec center and ask if you can check it out. They also offer tours, but I’m not sure if they have them on the weekends. The library will be open, so you could walk around and possibly talk to some students about how they like the school. Also, the University Union. Some of the campus dining places might be open too. And you could always take a hike on poly canyon trial to the architecture graveyard which is on campus.

They don’t offer tours on weekends, I checked. I didn’t know about the self-guided tours though, looks like I’ll be doing one of those. Also the Architecture Graveyard looks really cool too, so I might check that out. Thanks for all the ideas!
