recommend a good french textbook for a beginner please!

So i'm going to start doing it. my tutor can't make up her mind which book to use. please recommend one. I'm pretty much a beginner, learned French in middle school. I learned how to count, that's about it. :( I look forward to really learning it. TIA for your recommendations.

if you want more advanced beginner books, i recommend you to get them from vista higher education, for example, the series of “d’accord” for secondary schools;

I used four different textbook series in my french studies from elementary school- high school (I’m in college now). The first one was a Canadian-french textbook that I can’t remember the name of. I also used “Bon voyage” level one, “Bien dit” level one through three, and “Allons-y” level two. I liked both “Bon voyage” and “Bien dit”. Either one would be good; I’m more partial to “Bien dit” since I used it for more years.
