Recommend me colleges?

White female from rural CT
Interested in studying Engineering (specifically materials science)
SAT: 2250
CR: 720, M: 770, W: 760
(taking again in October)
SAT II:
Physics: 780
Math II: 760
Math I: 790
GPA: 96.66%
Class doesn't rank but top 10%

APs: Physics 5, Spanish 5, Eng. Lit 5, taking 4 more this year. (this is more AP tests than anyone else in my grade took, I self studied for spanish because my school doesn't have AP, no one has gotten a 5 on physics in years or a 5 on spanish ever)

-I'm the school's stage manager and technical director and I was the lighting operator for 2 years, I've done over 10 plays (counting the middle school shows) and numerous other performances

-I've done volunteer technical backstage work for some famous dance groups and the waterbury symphony orchestra

-I'm captain of my school's FTC robotics team and I was the coach last year

-I've volunteered over 800 hours at a nonprofit art center where I do management stuff and also teach classes (getting a rec from the executive director). I work there over the summer paid co-running their entire summer program and teaching, I have a really strong art portfolio and I believe my creative side gives me an edge on engineering problem solving

-built a telescope for fun

-NHS

-Math and science tutor

-Physics Olympics (nothing big, just competing for fun)

-I've done Summer@Brown for materials engineering and NC State summer program for materials engineering as well

All of my ECs sort of revolve around teaching and leadership: stage manager, the nonprofit, math tutor, robotics all involve showing others what to do and being in charge and setting an example, and helping people to understand.

Others:
AP Scholar (only one in my school), CAPT advanced scholar (state award, also only one in my school), highest PSAT score in school but missed national merit semifinalist by a point, bausch and lomb science award, best math student award two years in a row, wellesley book award, won a state award in theater

Can I have some good reach/match/safeties?

EDIT: My grandpa left my parents ridiculous amounts of money so I could go to college wherever I wanted. So money isn't an issue.

I’m currently thinking about
MIT EA
CMU
Olin
Cornell
RPI
University of Rochester
UConn

What are you looking for in a college? Size, region, greek life, athletics etc.

Are you limiting yourself to ONLY northeast schools…or…are you at all interested in applying to the best schools in your area of interest…Stanford, Caltech, Harvey Mudd, UCBerkeley…

Size doesn’t matter to me, preferably northeast but I’m open to other locations if the school feels like a good fit. Greek life and athletics I don’t really care if they’re big or not

I would rather stay up in the northeast, but if I really like a school I would still apply. Yeah I was considering applying to Harvey Mudd it seems like it has what I want :)

UConn would be your safety if you’re willing to attend it. Other safety options could be Ohio State, Purdue, Penn State.

UConn is my safety :)

Check put Villanova’s engineering school- it’s a great place, 6000 kids, building a new theater, Northeast.

WPI might be a good match with the possibility of merit scholarships as well. Case Western is worth considering too unless Cleveland is too far for you.
Have you ruled out BU, Northeastern, and Tufts?

I was thinking about WPI and Tufts, hadn’t considered BU or Northeastern yet. Will look into them!

Illinois Urbana Champaign has a great undergraduate engineering school as does Georgia Institute of Technology, MIT, UC Berkeley. and much more.

I would highly suggest looking up good engineering schools.

Cal Poly SLO as a safety?
Brown, Northwestern, U Michigan, UCLA
Case Western Reserve, CMU
All ABET accredited for Material science AFAIK
