<p>My English teacher has already written my main recommendation and submitted it, but I'm also having my art teacher write one. I'm submitting my application in the next couple of days before the EA deadline for UMich, and I already know that you can submit the app as long as all teachers are invited to write your recommendations even if they haven't submitted it yet. But, if I have everything submitted except for the extra recommendation, will my app be considered complete (since the missing rec is extra)?</p>
<p>My understanding of Mich is that you need only one teacher rec. If so you are fine, Only things that need to be sent by Nov 1 are those things that are “required.” Anything not required is not subject to that deadline.</p>
