Recommendation Confusion

I am applying to Columbia, and I have sent recommendation requests to Teacher A and Teacher B. Do I need to send one to my guidance counselor? Thanks

It is not necessary that you send one to your guidance counselor, although it may be a good idea.

she/he HAS to fill out your secondary school report. at first i thought that meant she/he has to write a letter of recommendation, but that’s optional.

YES. you do send a request to your guidance counselor.

I intend on applying RD and I want to send in three recommendations. Should I give my third teacher another copy of Report B or will that confuse the admissions office too much? How do I indicate that I am intending on having three applications without creating confusion?

Under most circumstances, DO NOT submit a third school teacher rec. Colleges (almost) unanimously want two for a reason.

I have a quick question. If we’re having someone outside from our school write a recommendation, do they have to fill out the form? I don’t know exactly what to do because he isn’t a teacher. Any help would be awesome!
