Recommendation Letter Conflict?

Hello,

I had an internship during a summer while in high school at a tech startup company and at the end I asked for a letter of recommendation for future career/education opportunities. I have very recently learned that recommendation letters must be sent in by the writers themselves. Is there anyway I could bypass this since the digital pdf has the writer’s signature and contact information?

Add them as a recommender on the Common App and they can upload the pdf right there.

I don’t know what school you’re applying to, but most will accept mailed in letters. Just call your admissions officer and ask. You don’t lose anything my doing so.
