Recommendation letter prob!!!

I'm thinking about asking my Japanese teacher for a recommendation letter to send for washu ED.

But is foreign language considered as a core class? And would it actually hurt my chance of getting in iif I'm planning on majoring in biology and enroll in the predentistry program? Should I ask a science teacher to do it?

The reason why I want my japanese teacher to write my recommendation letter is that this is his fourth teaching me and I'm definitely one of his strongest students.

This recommendation letter is for washu ED.

bump

Language would definitely be an academic class and if that is the teacher that knows you best as a student, then use them. As a high school student you have little say in what classes and teachers you have - so just because you have an interest in science doesn’t mean you will connect with the science teacher to the degree that it makes sense for them to write the rec.
