Recommendation letter

Should I submit one recommendation letter? I realize it's not required but do they even look at them?

This is what they said on the site:
"Q: Do you require letters of recommendation?
A: Rutgers University does not require any specific number of recommendation letters on behalf of applicants for undergraduate admission."

Thanks!

it can only help you so i'd say you might as well send one or two.

I agree, I would send one or two, but not more.

Send them, two or three is fine no more.

Okay thanks! I think I'm only sending in two tops.

my counselor said they didn't want it and she wouldn't send recommendation to Rugters.

Yeah I heard they dont check. Mycouncelor wouldn't send any

I just asked my guidance secretary to send in my common app. recommendation for cornell to rutgers also. =/

and she said sure.

That's weird. =/ My counselor said they don't really look over it but she'll send it anyway

My GC told me that they just rip up recommendations when they get them...she also said she wasn't sending hers and also wasn't sending the teacher recs I got for other schools.

I don't think they necessarily rip it up when they get them. It can only help, and it could decide whether you get in the school or not.
