UD requires at least one recommendation letter. Do you think 1 letter is good enough?

According to the information on the UD website, they need 2 letters, of which 1 has to be academic.

[UD Admissions Application Checklist](<a href=“Undergraduate Admissions | University of Delaware”>Out-of-State Students | University of Delaware)

If you have another person who you think can give a unique view of why they should accept you, I’d say go for it. If they are going to repeat what the first person said, then it probably isn’t worth it.

Thanks for pointing it out.
On the common app->school forms, it says 1 letter at least. I wonder if it is an error in UD common app.

by the way, $75 application fee is a lot. :[

If you really don’t want to go there, then don’t spend the $75 and apply. If you really want to go there, don’t sweat the $75. Maybe they do that to weed out some of the apps. They got 26,000 last year. Imagine if the app fee was $45 (URI)?

I was just saying $75 application fee is higher than average. No offensive.

I really like UD and my son loves it, but a lot of their fees are excessive. They will probably tell you that is what it costs to process the application.
