recommendation question

<p>hi there,</p>

<p>i have a question about getting a recommendation. one of my possible recommenders is my religion teacher. she has taught me junior and senior year, and i have an extensive relationship with her with in class and extra-curricular activities. problem is, i have heard that a lot of colleges don't really like getting a recommendation from a religion teacher because it isn't an "academic" subject. </p>

<p>any thoughts? should i get a rec from her or go to a more standard "academic" teacher?</p>

<p>You could always send in your religion teachers reco as a supplement reco. Most colleges do accept such supplements.</p>

<p>If she will give you an AMAZING rec compared to a good rec, then go for it. if they're close then the academic will be better.</p>
