Recommendation?

<p>Hi, one of my teachers want the earliest date possible to submit the recommendation. If i'm applying for regular, for which January 1st is the deadline, and ED I deadline is Novemeber 1, would the earliest day be November 1?</p>

<p>Also, Some institutions, say that they want teacher recommendations whereas some say they want Teacher Evaluations ( which is the common app.) So for those that want just teacher recommendations, I don't need to send them the Teacher Evaluations?</p>

<p>I don’t know the answer to your second question, but for the first one, your teachers can submit their recommendations at any time. The school will open a file for you and hang on to the letters until they get the rest of your application.</p>

<p>Q2: If some colleges aren’t part of common app, there are 3 possible things that they can do with teacher recs:

  1. they have their own teacher evaluation form (college-designed) to be sent with a regular teacher recommendation
  2. they just have the teacher send in a regular teacher recommendation (no teacher evaluation form required)
  3. they don’t require them & don’t have specific forms for them (you can just have teachers send them in to supplement your application)</p>
