recommendations for a transfer?

Hello all. I hope this is in the right place, and if not, I apologize. I'm new around here. :)

I'm currently going into my second year at community college in a suburb of NYC. I took several years off after a disastrous freshman year at an art school. I simply wasn't ready. Now, however, I've completely changed my program of study and I'm up to a 3.94 GPA (4.0 last semester!). I did decent enough in high school, mostly in the B range, with a 1750 on my SAT (1250 on the old system). I wanted to know if there were any schools I should be looking at.

I'm looking for a school with a great journalism/communications program. I'm getting my associates in communications right now, though it's mostly very basic classes. I'm not positive what I want to get into yet, though I'm leaning towards either broadcast journalism or public relations. Possibly a political science minor (I'm a politics nerd).
Cost is not an issue, though a better value is always nice.
I will be 24 when I transfer in Fall 2013.
I'd like to stick to a city area, or at the very least, close to one. Distance from New York doesn't make a difference.
During my time off I traveled and lived throughout the United States. After moving home, I worked as a manager for a restaurant for a year (still working there part time as a waiter/occasional manager).
I would really enjoy studying abroad and having access to internships.

Thank you all so much for your help in advance. There are some great resources here!

How much can you afford?

Any price.

You have that much saved up?? Ohio University is possible - very good journalism program. Not in a city but you can get to one.
