Recommendations for Common App

<p>For one of the schools that I am applying to (UVM), they only require one recommendation. They do not specify on their website what type of recommendation that can be. Can I just use my guidance counselor recommendation or do I need to get a teacher to write on as well? Also, the deadline for this application is November 1st, so I need an answer ASAP..</p>
