Hello, I lived in New York City for the first ten years of my life before moving to the Houston, Texas area and now that I'm beginning the end of my HS career I'm looking to fulfill my dream of returning to go to college. Now we all know, NYC=Business Capital of the World, but I can't help but feel overwhelmed. Could anybody with knowledge of colleges and universities recommend any NYC area schools with good undergraduate programs for people looking to pursue a business/economics related major? If that's the field I go into I definitely want to be in New York where I can easily get career opportunities and internships. I won't be going to a Harvard or Colombia as I don't really meet the outstanding prerequisites, but I have been looking for those lesser known schools with good programs.

However in the searches I've done I get a lot of conflicting reports (ie. this school is bad/no it's actually great) and I just thought I'd come on here for consistent, valid info. Would any of you recommend Pace University for business? I was looking into the Manhattan campus but I'm kinda unsure atm...

What about the CUNY and SUNY colleges? In some places they were called better than Pace when it comes to Business/Econ and I've heard same for Fordham.. And how is St. Johns??

As you can see I'm feeling a lot of college anxiety atm, which I guess is normal? Haha, but if anyone can elaborate on some of those schools or recommend any other NYC area schools for the majors I mentioned it would be GREATLY appreciated. I leave for New York tomorrow with the family and I really hope to visit and get a feel for some of the schools I mentioned as well as any others you guys may recommend. Thanks in advance!!
