Recommendations for Transfer Application

Hi, everyone!

I'm a sophomore at the University of S. Carolina and I would like to transfer to UT.

I've submitted my app and it's technically complete. However, I would like to increase my chances, so I will be submitting some recommendations.

I'm gonna get one written by my Russian professor. I also thought about my HS German teachers (as they know me very well and would give me great recommendations), but I'm not sure if this would be appropriate. Normally I would think it not to be appropriate, but for the required resume, they wanted all academic and extracurricular activity to be listed (which for me includes high school).

So what do you guys think? Would it be okay to have recommendations submitted from high school teachers for a transfer app?

Thanks! :)

They will not be interested in HS letters. Also UT places recs on their lowest list for considering an applicant; letters are generally considered as a plus to get you in. Also we need to know your GPA, number of hours taken/in progress.
