I gave my reccomendation form to my English teacher, but she wants to know if she can just write a letter instead that includes everything on the reccomendation form? Can She do this, if she can should I contact the school?

i'd contact the cshool.i think it's okay, but i think they'd prefer a form tho. why would she want to write a letter?

Have her staple it to the form and write "see attached".

calling the school = safe bet

As long as she attaches the recommendation form and checks off the appropriate boxes (typically a 1 to 5 rating on various things), the letter of recommendation on a separate sheet should be just fine. Had that with a couple of teachers. Usually when they do this they want to say more (usually positive) things about the applicant than will fit the form.
