Hi - I have a few questions about college recommendations. I planned on just asking the people to write them, but it seems that every college has a form that they want teachers to fill out. Do I have to have them fill out one for every college? I thought most of the recommendations would be in a typed letter format, but I guess I was wrong. Should I just have them fill out the common app recommendation form (and then copy it however many times) in addition to any rec forms from schools I decide to apply to using their own app (Tufts + international schools)? This is complicated because I plan to apply to 10-14 schools. Also if I want can I send the recommendations ahead of the app? This would allow me to get 95 percent of the recommendations done right in september (even to schools without rolling admissions) thus avoiding the winter application rush. Thanks.
