I'm going to be going to college soon. And I was just wondering what you guys think
are good majors to get Bachelor's in, before applying to Law School?

The B.S. or B.A. that you enjoy the most. The all have their upsides and downsides, so you really can’t go wrong.

What w1990 said with three caveats: (1) Law schools have a preference for majors that teach critical thinking, logical argument, and attention to detail. (1) They may have a disinclination towards undergrad majors they deem too vocational. (3) Have a plan B if you change your mind about law school or decide to/need to work a few years after graduation before attending. If the school you eventually attend has a pre-law advising program (many do), ask them which majors from their school seem to be more successful.

You’ll still want top grades and a strong LSAT score when you do apply. Law school admissions are much more numbers-driven (given the # of applicants, they can afford to be picky) than undergrad. A major you enjoy and do well in is going to help (also helps if you delay or skip law school - employers use GPA as a proxy for ability).

I am currently a sophomore pursuing law school and I am double majoring in Finance and Economics. Economics is generally considered a good major for future law students and Finance is strong enough to guarantee me a job after graduation if I can’t get into a respectable law school.

Double majoring gives me a chance to go the business or law route depending on where I get accepted into
