<p>As an UCM alumni I kind of expected this after the first lady spoke at my commencement.</p>

<p>And the school is crowded. There are hundreds on waiting lists for room and board even with the new freshman dorms
So its a good thing (for the added attention) but also a bad thing as the school’s not growing fast enough.</p>

It will be interesting to see if the school can cope (especially the first two weeks)???</p>
<p>A little advice for everyone…
Go get your books, in between classes…if you can. In fact, do as much business as possible in between classes (e.g. admissions, financial aid, etc.). I did this last year, and avoided all the lines…it was great!</p>
<p>Also, I think parking is usually free the first week or two. So, don’t stress out in a line that will be packed, the first day. They will sell you the same permit anytime during this period.</p>
<p>All and all…this is great news!!! It has been interesting to see the campus grow the last few years, even if it has been a little (er…unusually) bumpy</p>
