Record # of Admissions

Since there were so many more people admitted and so many more who accepted the admittance does this mean UCSC will be more likely to revoke admission if your grades are not consistent with those from previous years?

?

Not sure where you got your info from. There were 15% more applicants this year, and a whole lot of unhappy prospective students who would have been admitted any other year.

In any case , UCs do not want to see students get D's and screw off their senior year. If you choose to do this, you have a better than 50% chance of having your app rescinded. I guess it is fair to say that UCSC will be more 'anal' this year about seniors receiving D's, because of the number of students who plan to attend.

All UCSC demands of senior year are Cs and better, in everything. So if you have that, you're fine. If you have a D, watch out, 'cause UCSC is getting tougher and tougher.
